She graduated and received her master's degree from the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb (1997, 2000), and in 2003 she received her doctorate as part of the joint EDAMBA doctoral study program at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and EFZG on topics in the fields of macroeconomics, industrial policy, employment policy and structural changes in the labor market, which are also her areas of scientific and professional interest. At EFZG she teaches a number of courses - Macroeconomics, Macroeconomics of the Labor Market, Clusters and Competitiveness, Croatian Economy, Institutions and Employment Policies, and as a visiting professor she has lectured at numerous universities in the EU (University of Ljubljana, Complutense University of Madrid, University of the Balearic Islands, University of Lisbon, University of Malta, University of Granada, University of Murcia, etc.). She is the author, co-author and co-editor of several scientific books and university textbooks, three proceedings of domestic scientific conferences and the author of more than 110 articles in peer-reviewed journals. For her scientific work and research productivity, she has received a number of awards, including the DSN Annual Award for Young Scientists and Artists (2005) and the 'Mijo Mirković' scientific award (2005, 2008, 2013, 2020 and 2023). As a researcher, she participated in many scientific projects funded by the Ministry of Health, the Croatian Federation of Social Sciences, the World Bank, Oxford Analytica, USAID, CERGE-EI, and the Slovenian Agency for Research and Innovation (ARIS). From 2018 to 2020, she was a member of the Working Group for Monitoring the Implementation of Active Employment Policy Measures at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment, Government of the Republic of Croatia. Since 2024, she has been a researcher on the HORIZON STEAMbrace project and a member of the Steering Committee for the field of social sciences, field of economics at the Academy of Higher Education and Vocational Training. Since the beginning of 2025, she has been the leader of a bilateral Croatian-Slovenian scientific research project funded by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment.
